For added safety, the booms have a dual stainless steel cable system that runs all the way from the boom to the attachment point at the bow of the boat. There are no levers or moving parts on the boom clamps because moving parts can loosen, wear out and break. Made for direct drive boats with a center mounted pylon Pylon CAN be tapered. Boom bends upward to mount below the taper of the pylon and curve up and out of the side of the boat Boom has a backwards bend of 8”, if you cannot go straight out from your pylon without hitting your windshield this boom bends backwards 8” to curve around the windshield and out of the boat.
